District Church Council
The DCC is elected by members of the congregation at the Annual Church Meeting in March/April. These elected members normally serve for a three-year term.
The Council, therefore, represents the congregation and has the responsibility of co‑operating with the Vicar in promoting the church within its district and in taking all decisions in pastoral, evangelistic, social, ecumenical and financial matters. It also has maintenance responsibility for St Mark’s Church and Hall.
Meeting day: 7 meetings per year. Meeting day varies.
