Becky’s Haircut

Published November 20, 2015 by admin in News

Becky decided to have her hair cut so she could donate it to the Little Princess Trust*.  This charity provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children throughout the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

As a result of hair donations, the trust obtains a large number of wigs manufactured for free but any that they need to buy cost, on average, in excess of £350.  She thought it would be great if she could raise enough money to buy at least one wig.

On the 19th November she had 13 inches of her lengthy locks lopped off and raised in excess of £500!!  Many thanks for everyone from St Mark’s who contributed to this worthy cause and congratulations to Becky for this amazing result!
