Messy St Mark’s
On 12th October we launched our first ever Messy St Mark’s for the families at Oughton Primary School. We held it in the school itself meaning that families could come and join in straight from the end of the school day. We didn’t know how many people we’d get, if any, but could never have guessed that over 100 people would come and join in! The theme was Celebrating Harvest with harvest and nature themed activities including leaf painting, apple bobbing, junk modelling of animals, potato printing and fruit kebabs. By far the most popular activity was the slime making!
Messy St Mark’s is happening each half term at the school with the next session being run on 7th December which will include a chance to hear the Christmas story and then to explore the story through many different craft activities, not including slime making but snow making this time!
